Google is organizing TechMela in partner with Daraz and Dawn – what it seems to be another marketing campaign by Daraz to generate traffic through new source. I wonder why we dont have Mela with real deals like Cyber Monday. Here the TechMela is just another lime light campaign to spend the marketing budget of Daraz and Google which is then covered as content for technical category for DAWN. The ultimate beneficial, the customers are left unserved.
Unfortunately the day is yet to come when the consumer gets real offer rather than such Tech Mela simply generating a new wave of traffic.
Not to discuss the webstore has been buildup by creating couple of pages with no responsiveness – How could a brand like Google could take it so easy. It could have change the industry as whole something like CyberMonday.
But it is a good initiative which could be tune to make it better.
